Solomon Garçon
Design and modelling for Solomon Garçon. The piece is a two-part Nylon PA12 structure that was 3D printed, then primed and painted.
Nylon PA12 gave the strength and crisp detail the exoskeletal form needed. Spike TM produced the components and prepared them for installation.
It was based on a body camera stabilizer. There’s a spine and the frame to hold you up but there’s also this sense that everything has been depleted. There’s clearly a body missing.
